The cross-country skiing trails in the Stodertal take you through a dreamlike backdrop of the Austrian mountains. Due to the narrowness of the valley, cross-country skiing in the Stodertal is somewhat limited, but a 25 km long cross-country ski trail leads through a beautiful, wintery mountain landscape at the bottom of the Stodertal valley.

The cross-country ski trail on the Hutterer Böden is located at 1,400 m above sea level and has a length of about 4 km. This cross-country ski trail is also equipped with a skating track and is beautifully landscaped with the high climatic advantages of the snow and body health.
The high-altitude trail Hinterstoder | Austria can be reached either by car via the Hinterstoder toll road or by using the gondola (to middle station).
In the neighboring village of Vorderstoder, 5 km away, there are two scenically very beautiful cross-country trails with great views of the mountains of the region.
In the vast Garstnertal, which is 16 km away, there are many well groomed cross-country skiing trails. Not far from the Kalkalpen National Park, there are over 120 km of cross-country skiing trails at three altitudes (at 600 m, 800 m and 1,400 m above sea level)
Also in the ski area of the Wurzeralm there is a beautifully situated high-altitude trail that meanders over the Teichlboden at 1,370 m above sea level.
The Innerrosenau Biathlon Centre is 30 km from Berghof Sturmgut. Some of the cross-country trails are mechanically snowed and these trails are therefore passable for a very long time.
