For our guests who want to be sporty during their holiday, there are four scenic running routes down in the Stodertal for running, walking, Nordic walking, or jogging. At the entry and exit points of the running tracks you will find information boards with route maps showing exact length and altitude profiles. The routes are marked with a colour guidance system and thus guarantee an effortless orientation. 
The four routes:

blue 4.97 km with 35 vertical meters

green 5.15 km with 20 vertical meters

yellow 8.8 km with 160 vertical meters

red 13.7 km with 190 vertical meters

The tennis court and the indoor tennis court are 2. 5 km far from our house, in the middle of the village in the amusement park. The two tennis courts are sandy courts with beautiful views of the mountains. Right next to the tennis courts is the tennis hall with two rubber granulate courts.
Changing rooms, showers, sanitary facilities and a sports buffet are directly connected to these sports venues.

At the Lake Gleinker in Roßleithen, 17.2 km from us, there is a boat rental. The lake is located above Windischgarsten and is a popular excursion point. A round with a pedal boat or rowing boat, on the lake, is not strenuous and fun for the whole family.

The wildly romantic reservoir Klaus is located in the village of Klaus on the Pyhrn railway and is 19.4 km away from Sturmgut. With the power plant construction in 1975, this reservoir was created, which is about 98 hectares large, 7 km long, up to 200 m wide and up to 40 m deep. The reservoir Klaus begins at the confluence of Steyr and pond, at the Lake Elisabeth. From the bathing lake to far behind the dam, you will find the largest conglomerate walls in all of Central Europe. You can experience this very impressive on a boat trip on the reservoir.
At the leisure center Lake Klaus – next to the Gasthof Seeblick, you will find a boat rental where you can rent electric boats or pedal boats. Enjoy the canyon-like natural landscape, or make a detour to the side arms of the Redtenbach or the Steyrling with your sandbanks to land.
At the leisure center you will also find a kayak school, tennis courts, asphalt tracks, SUP rental, a floating alpine hut and a large attractive children’splayground. On some days there is also the possibility of bungee jumping at the dam.
The depths of the Klaus reservoir are also very popular with anglers. The main fish in Lake Klaus is the brown trout, which thrives here very well, because the lake has the best water quality. With normal water supply, the water is completely replaced every seven days. Other fish species are rainbow trout, brown trout, grayling and pike.
