Family holidays – home for families in the holiday season

Our location is perfect for a family holidays in Austria. Absolutely quiet and safe, away from mass tourism, family run, plus a farm with many animals. The playground is right by the house and can be seen from both dining rooms. There are many play equipment and pedal vehicles for all ages. Our small hotel is built for families and the children can easily find their way around the house and at the courtyard. The children’s playroom is just a few steps away from the guest rooms. We can also offer equipment for infants.

The Pyhrn-Priel ActiveCard is given to every guest in our hotel free of charge upon arrival. This card is a so-called “all-inclusive card” and allows each of our guests, from mid-May to mid-October, the unrestricted use of a variety of services during their holiday stay, as often as they want and without having to pay anything extra. A family of four already saves about Euro 140,- on a one-off trip with the mountain railways in the region.

We get our drinkingwater from our own spring (mountain spring) not far from the farm.
The water from this spring comes to light for the first time in your room and is of the highest quality, as confirmed by annual surveys.

Kalkalpen National Park

The Kalkalpen National Park is the largest forest protection area in Austria.
This national park covers 20,850 hectares and extends over an altitude of 385 to almost 2000 meters. Hidden gorges, untouched mountain streams, natural forests, scenic mountain peaks and charming mountain pastures are a habitat and refuge for rare and endangered animals and plants. In the Kalkalpen National Park there are 50 mammalian and 80 breeding bird species, 1,400 different butterflies and more than 1,000 different flowering plants, ferns and mosses.
The Kalkalpen National Park offers interesting guided tours and exhibitions at any time of the year.
